Khaliah Fleming, EdD, MPH, MCHES is a bilingual public health consultant and nonprofit leader with extensive national and international experience supporting organizations committed to equity, impact, and sustainable change. As a Master Certified Health Education Specialist, she brings a strong track record of helping nonprofits, foundations, and community-based organizations design, implement, and evaluate programs that address health disparities and strengthen community outcomes. Her global perspective was shaped through Peace Corps service, where she supported ​​​​
community health initiatives and cross-cultural capacity building at the grassroots level.
Khaliah specializes in health education, program planning and evaluation, strategic partnerships, and stakeholder engagement. Her consulting work draws on experience across nonprofit leadership, academic research, and management consulting, enabling her to guide clients in translating data, research, and policy into clear, actionable strategies. Known for her collaborative approach and clear communication style, she excels at aligning mission, strategy, and execution while engaging diverse partners and audiences.
Grounded in both practice and scholarship, Khaliah holds advanced training from leading academic institutions (Spelman College, University of South Florida, and Johns Hopkins University) and maintains active professional leadership through public health associations at the state and national levels, including serving as a board member for the Society for the Analysis of African American Public Health Issues (SAAPHI) and President of the Florida Society for Public Health Education (FL SOPHE). Her professional interests include chronic disease prevention, health communication and literacy, community-based participatory research, and culturally and faith-informed health initiatives. At the core of her work is a deep commitment to social and racial justice and a belief that equitable systems are essential to long-term community well-being.
