Dr. Ashley Carmenia is a public health professional, strategist, and advocate dedicated to advancing equitable health access through sustainable, community-driven solutions. With more than a decade of experience across public health practice, community engagement, and program management, she brings a systems-oriented approach to strengthening organizations and improving population health outcomes. Dr. Carmenia has partnered with local
governments, health systems, nonprofit organizations, and community-based coalitions to design and implement initiatives addressing maternal and reproductive health, chronic disease prevention, and the social drivers of health. Her work focuses on building organizational capacity, bridging gaps between health systems and communities, and translating strategy into measurable, community-centered impact.
​Guided by a strong commitment to service, equity, and collaboration, Dr. Carmenia brings clarity, empathy, and purpose to every engagement to support organizations in creating sustainable solutions that help centralize community voice and aid communities in thriving. She holds a Doctor of Health Science (DHSc) degree with a specialized focus in rural health. Additionally, she holds a Masters of Public Health and a Bachelors of Science in Health Science.
